Fastest time for Paolo Ruberti in Misano's qualifying one

04/06/2011 - Paolo Ruberti secured the first pole position of the second round of the Italian GT Championship at the Misano World Circuit.

The color-bearer of Autorlando team, at the wheel of the GT3R Porsche, set a fastest time (1´36.044) in the first qualifying session, valid for race one's grid, starting this afternoon at 18.50 (local time, GMT+2).

The driver from Verona proceeded Alessandro Cicognani (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia), that set his fastest time in 1´37.203 and Davide di Benedetto, at the debut with the Corvette Z06 belonging to RC Motorsport, that set a fastest time of 1.37.505; all three drivers are on GT3 class cars. Marco Bonanomi could not run any lap at all as his Audi R8 LMS did not switch on.

The fourth absolute time was set by Giorgio Sanna (1´39.699), who has also been the fastest in the GT Cup class, where he proceeded Rino Mastronardi (Porsche 997-Petricorse Motorsport) (1´39.756), while Victor Coggiola (Porsche RSR-Victor Porsche) obtained the sixth absolute time and the first position in GT2 class with a laptime of 1´39.870.

In GT4, the best time of 1´44.980 awarded Gianluca De Lorenzi (Ginetta G50-Happy Racer) with the class pole position; Saggese (Ginetta G50- Costa Ovest) followed with a laptime of 1´45.722.
