Giacomo Piccini (Lamborghini Gallardo-Mik Corse):"What a good race, I had fun, the car went very well and I had a good start without risking too much. After that I got rid of the GT Cup cars and I told myself to go and catch GT3s as my car was very fast. Before the change I got the slipstream of the two Audi and in the second stint Stefano did the rest with a great race. My compliments go to him and the whole team".
Marco Bonanomi (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia): "It has been a fairly difficult race due to the track conditions. We had to devise a new setup but championship-wise things went pretty well. We gained some important points for the classification but winning has another taste. I am happy anyway, we made a great team effort but we have to admit that today Porche was stronger than us".
Andrea Sonvico (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia): "My stint went very well, I had a good feeling with the car even if it was my debut on the wet. The safety car penalyzed us a lot anyway because it lapped too much and I got a small advantage on Porsche. When Ruberti got in the situation changed to our disadvantage. We finished the race with a gap of five seconds but considering that I was lapping three second faster than Cordoni I believe that with a few laps less under safety car regime the race would have changed. We gained anyway some important points and I am happy for yesterday's recover from last to second".
Marco Cassera (Ginetta G 50-Happy Racer): "It has been a good race even if weather conditions were pretty difficult. At the start even if it was not raining too much I decided to go for a full wet setup and this awarded us in the end. The first laps were quite challenging as visibility was zero due to the water spray of other cars. I gained the second position and I kept it until the change, then De Lorenzi has been great in recovering and finishing on top".
Michele Merendino (Corvette Z06-RC Motorsport): "We are satisfied, this has been for us the first race with this car. I just saw the Corvette on photographs before this weekend but I am moderately satisfied considering that Lambos with four wheel drive were much faster. This is a good start and I am hopeful of being better in the coming races".
Davide Di Benedetto (Corvette Z06-RC Motorsport):"Things went quite well despite we did not know the car. What a shame for yesterday's race: we were second and the hydrostatic power steering broke. I am happy with the third place of the podium but it is a bit on the tight side. On the dry we had a good setup, on the wet we had to start from scratch instead. Without penalties on the dry we could have done much better than a third place".
