26/02/2013 – Roal Motorsport's lineup for the 11th Italian GT Championship is starting to be unveiled. The team led by Roberto Ravaglia, winner last year with the lineup Biagi-Colombo, confirmed that they will line up two Z4s, one given to the new entry Stefano Comandini and the other for the confirmed Michela Cerruti.

It will be a livery and car change for Comandini, that was protagonist last year in the Italian GT Championship at the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia belonging to Vita4One Team Italy, but the strong Italian driver is still waiting to know the name of his co-equiper.

The lineup of the second car is already complete instead as Michela Cerruti will be the only driver. 2013 regulations allow single drivers participation and the 26 years old from Milan, coming from a brilliant 2012 season where she took the win in Mugello with Edoardo Liberati, will try to get the GT3 title.

Both drivers have been on track for the first tests of Vallelunga last 21 and 22 February and set very good lap times as confirmed by Team Principal Roberto Ravaglia: “Our second year in the Italian GT Championship brings some news as well as confirmations for the team. Michela Cerruti proved to be competitive at the wheel of the GT3 BMW Z4 and the challenging choice of racing alone will allow her to grow further and to measure herself in a more complete manner with the rivals. We would also like to welcome Comandini to our team: he has been quick and constant since the beginning of last week's tests in Vallelunga, which is something crucial for GT races. We still have some options open to define his co-equiper: we will announce his name in the coming weeks".
