GT 2013, Black Bull Swisse Racing to field two 458 Italia Ferraris in class GT3

The Swiss team, winner of the Blancpain Lamborghini 2010 Supertrophy, is set to make its debut in the Italian GT with two Maranello's Reds equipped with the 2013 upgrade package. The lineups behind the wheel will be the pairing Venturi-Maino and Andrea Invernizzi.

07/03/2013 – New arrivals for the 11th edition of the Italian Grand Touring cars championship, as Black Bull Swisse Racing will make its debut with two 458 Italia Ferraris of class GT3 since the first race of the season, set for Misano Adriatico next 5 May.

The main car will be driven by the lineup made by Mirko Venturi, PRO-2010 winner in the Blancpain Lamborghini Supertrophy, and Tommaso Maino, while the second 458 Italia will be driven by Andrea Invernizzi, the gentleman driver that exploited the new 2013 regulations to run alone.


The team has been founded in 2009 by some Swiss motor-sports enthusiasts, but the factory is located in Lugo di Romagna and the technical management is given to Roberto Venieri, a well known name even in single seater racing. The chief engineer will be the Greek Giannoulis Kafetzis, while Matteo Cavedoni will be the sportive director.

After the 2010 victory in the Blancpain Lamborghini Supertrophy, the team took part in several races of prestigious International GT Championships, with the F 430 Ferrari first and since last year with the 458 Italia. Last February two cars have been lined up in the GT Open Winter Series heldat Paul Ricard, where Venturi secured a stunning win in race one.

The two 458 Italy are waiting the 2013 upgrade pack and will get on track for the first pre-season tests haead of the championship opener scheduled for next 5th May in Misano Adriatico.
