The first victory of the season for Sanna-Barri on the Lamborghini Gallardo arrived in Vallelunga's race two.

The Imperiale Racing lineup ended on top at the end of a challenging race, made more difficult by a heavy rain downpour. The race ended at lap 13 about 10 minutes early due to the bad conditions of the circuit. Behind the winners, Comandini-Colombo (BMW Z4-ROAL Motorsport) ended second at 6.002s and Frassineti-Kristoffersson (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia) third at 9.279s.

Right at the feet of the podium were Passuti-Mapelli (Porsche GT3R), but in the post race the colors bearers of Antonelli Motorsport were issued a 25 seconds penalty as they did not switch on floodlights during the race, which relegated the lineup to the seventh position.

Lancieri-Necchi (Ferrari 458 Italia-MP1 Corse) were promoted to fourth as they ended ahead of Capello-Sonvico (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia), Venturi-Maino (Ferrari 458 Italia-Black Bull Swisse Racing), Passuti-Mapelli and Mirko Zanardini, with the latter ending first in GT Cup, category in which Fabio Babini and Riccardo Bianco have been crowned as new champions on the Porsche GT3R of GDL Motorsport.

The second place in race two obtained by Comandini and Colombo allowed them to get the lead in the classification with 124 points, one more than Postiglione and Lucchini and eight more than Venturi and Maino. The title of class GT3, will therefore be decided in the last round of the season scheduled for next October 20th in Monza.
