The demanding circuit in Mugello will house the fourth round of the Italian Grand Touring Championship this coming weekend, the traditional race proceeding the summer break. This is going to be a very interesting round for several reasons, among which the national debut of the Bentley Continental GT with Petri Corse Motorsport. The British car will be driven by two experienced drivers of the likes of former Formula 1 Nicola Larini and Alex Caffi. The pairing will have the duty to go fast and do not disappoint the expectations of the British constructor that is quite keen on shining in the Italian series.

A good duel will characterize the two racing days, as Bentley joins the fight for the GT3 title that had Lamborghini, Audi and Ferrari as the protagonists so far. After the two races held in Misano Adriatico the classification is led by Zampieri-Altoè (Lamborghini Huracan-Antonelli Motorsport), that are five points clear of Bar Baruch (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia) and seven of Stefano Gai (Ferrari 488-Scuderia Baldini 27). Mancinelli-Fontana (Ferrari 488-Easy Race), Veglia-Vedel (Lamborghini Huracan-Antonelli Motorsport) and Palma-Barri (Lamborghini Huracan-Petri Corse Motorsport) are within 19 points.
