AF Corse will be present in the forthcoming season of the Italian GT Championship. Team manager Ugo Maceratini officialized the participation of the Italian team in the 17th edition of the Italian Championship with two Ferrari 488 GT3 in both the Endurance and Sprint series. The Endurance lineup will be made by Matteo Cressoni, Simon Mann and Nicklas Nielsen, while the Sprint series will be contested by the pairing Cressoni-Mann.

Both lineups are PRO/AM. Matteo Cressoni switched to GT racing back in 2005 after an open-wheel racing career that saw him winning the Italian Formula 3 Championship the year before. The career of the Italian 34-years-old driver made him compete on the most prestigious GT championships and circuits all over the world, including the Italian GT Championship in the seasons 2007, 2009 and 2018. The 18-years-old Simon Mann took part last year at the race in Monza with Cressoni; the Dane Nicklas Nielsen (22 years) is also very young but last year he won the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.

The other two lineups that will complete the squad of the Italian outfit will be officialized shortly.
