Galbiati-Venturini-Frassineti (Lamborghini Huracan) win the third round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship in Vallelunga
Thanks to the third place, BMW's Comandini and Zug tok the classification lead. The first titles of GT4 have been awarded meanwhile, as that of PRO-AM has been won by De Castro and Gnemmi (Porsche Cayman), who won the class and shared driving duties with Vito Postiglione, and that of AM that went to Luca Magnoni (Mercedes AMG GT4), who was second with co-equiper Francesco De Luca.

The pole position of the 3rd round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship in Vallelunga goes to Galbiati-Venturini-Frassineti (Lamborghini Huracan)
Imperiale Racing's drivers proceeded the Audi R8 LMS of Drudi-Agostini-Mancinelli, while the best lap of GT4 was posted by Gnemmi-De Castro-Postiglione (Porsche Cayman). The Ferrari 488 of Roda-Rovera-Fuoco leading the classification in GT3, while the Porsche Cayman of Gnemmi and De Castro is the favourite of GT4 thanks also to the presence of the multiple-champion Vito Postiglione that will side the two Ebimotors drivers.

AF Corse drivers led the Lamborghini Huracan of Kroes-Shandorff-Tujula and the sister car of Easy Race driven by Hudspeth-Michelotto-Greco. The top step of the GT4 podium went to Gnemmi-De Castro-Pera (Porsche Cayman) that proceeded Magnoni-Zarpellon (Mercedes AMG) and Guerra-Riccitelli-Neri (BMW M4).

Imola, Roda-Rovera-Fuoco (Ferrari 488 GT3) take the pole position in the 2nd race of the Endurance series
AF Corse drivers obtained the best time in qualifying leading the Lamborghini Huracan of Galbiati-Venturini-Frassineti and the BMW M6 GT3 of Comandini-Zug-Spengler. The "pole” of GT4 went to the BMW M4 GT4 driven by Guerra-Riccitelli-Neri.

The Endurance series of the Italian GT 2020 Championship resumes from Imola after the summer break
The Enzo e Dino Ferrari is about to host the second round of the season with some new arrivals in GT3 and GT4. In the highest class, Riccardo Agostini and Daniel Mancinelli (Audi R8 LMS) won in Mugello and in the occasion will be sided by Vito Postiglione as the men to beat. In GT4 Gnemmi-De Castro-Pera (Porsche Cayman) will have to defend their lead from the attacks of the BMW and Mercedes challengers.

Ferrari-Zampieri (Mercedes AMG GT3) win race-2 at the opener of the Italian GT Sprint Championship in Misano
AKM Motorsport's drivers win the race after 5s time penalty have been handed to Galbiati-Venturini, that crossed the line on top. Imperiale Racing's drivers were pushed down to P7 while Roda-Rovera and Agostini-Mancinelli rounded off the podium.Segù-De Luca (Mercedes AMG GT4) took the win in GT4, Chiesa-Greco (Ferrari 488 Challenge) in GT Cup.

In Misano the Audi Sport Italia pairing led Comandini-Zug (BMW) and Nemoto-Tjula (Lamborghini), the GT4 win went to Francesco Guerra and Simone Riccitelli (BMW), while Sauto-Carboni (Porsche) got on the top step of the podium of GT Cup.

After dominating qualifying, Audi Sport Italia's drivers pipped the BMW M6 GT3 of Comandini-Zug-Sims by 0.026s in an exciting finale- The victory in GT4 went to the Porsche Cayman driven by Gnemmi-De Castro-Pera (Ebimotors) that proceeded the BMW M4 GT4 of Guerra-Riccitelli-Neri (BMW Team Italia).

The post-Covid Italian GT Championship 2020 at the start
After the lockdown and the risk of a reduced motorsport season, the 18th edition of the Italian GT Championship is at the starting blocks. The Endurance series is about to get underway this coming weekend at Mugello, the Sprint series will kick off at the beginning of August in Misano.
