San Martino di Castrozza, 15 September 2012 - Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, Peugeot 207 super 2000, got the victory and proceed towards yet another Italian title, but the race was decided by a double puncture to the Skoda Fabia of Umberto Scandola and Guido D'Amore right in the last stage of a rally dominated on the extraordinary roads of the International Rallye of San Martino di Castrozza e Primiero. The novelty of this round was Scandola's Skoda solidly dominating over the Peugeot of Andreucci. The dominion did not concretize in a big gap though, but Scandola won 8 out of the 10 stages run.

Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi won for the fourth race in this season and are very close to the mathematic certainty of the title as they just need two points.
Second place for Alessandro Perico, Peugeot 207 Super 2000, who obtained the Independents Trophy, the series reserved to private lineups, thanks to this win. Before the race of San Martino the classificaion was led by Matteo Gamba. Unfortunately though the driver from Brescia could not take part in the race today as during the night someone cut some wires of his Peugeot 207 Super 2000. Two investigations have been opened on the matter, one by the authorities and a sportive one by the Federation.

Third was Stefano Albertini. The driver from Brescia, racing thanks to a programme supported by ACI-CSAI, Pirelli and Racing Lions, run a solid rally but has been slowed down in the first leg by a problem to the differential and in the second due to a puncture.
