20/03/2016 - Paolo Andreucci, Anna Andreussi and Peugeot triumph in the 39th Rally del Ciocco, race organized by Organization Sport Event. After winning the first day yesterday, the Tuscan driver and the car of the prancing lion repeated themselves today taking the full haul in the classification of the Italian championship.

Andreucci and his co-driver had the upper hand on their rivals leaving only crumbs to them and confirming that their Peugeot is certainly the most ready car to face the Italian series. Behind them, the best of the others today and yesterday Giandomenico Basso and his co-driver Lorenzo Granai on Ford Fiesta R5 LDI. The GPL powered car seems to be improving and to deliver to his driver the chance to fight for the Italian championship until the end. Umberto Scandola and his Skoda Fabia R5 did not have very positive indications so far and still have to improve. The car has a huge potential but has not been finely tuned yet to keep the pace of the front runners. This has been highlighted by the gap to the top of the day and of the whole rally – computed as sum of the times in the two days – as the Veronese driver ended also behind the Peugeot 208 T16 R5 of Alessandro Perico, the least private of the private drivers. The driver from Bergamo is also leading the Tarmac Rally Trophy, the series reserved to private drivers, and proceeds the other two great protagonists of the classification of the Trophy, Simone Tempestini on Ford Fiesta R5 and Michele Tassone on another Peugeot 208 R5. Antonio Rusce, the Italo-Swiss Stefano Baccega, both on Ford Fiesta R5 and Ciava on Citroen DS3, put in some great races too.
Among the drivers entered in the Italian 2WD Championship, the driver from Lucca Luca Panzani won race one which gave him the temporary lead in the Renault Clio R3T Top Trophy; while Ivan Ferrarotti won race two on Renault Clio R3C and took the lead of the classification.
Among the young drivers of the Rally Junior Championship, Giorgio Bernardi won yesterday and today. The driver from Abruzzo on Peugeot 208 R2, is currently leading the classification proceeding Alessandro Casella and Marco Pollara.
In the Italian R1 Championship and in the Suzuki Rally Trophy, Stefano Martinelli and Natasha Botzari took a double win. The driver from Garfagnana secured the lead of both series from Gianluca Rao to Jacopo Lucarelli.
