Formula 4 powered by Abarth

This confirmation completes the technical picture of the new single seater destined to young talents of national and international motor racing.

Rome, 10 January 2014 - Abarth will provide engines for the single seaters that will take part in the Italian Formula 4 Championship. The engine will be, in agreement with FIA specifications, a 1400cc turbo charged unit with maximum power of 160bhp.

The rumors that have been following the birth of this brand new formula destined to young drivers of the Italian and international motor racing, got an official confirmation in the agreement between ACI Csai and Abarth. All the details of such an agreement will be disclosed shortly.

As already announced, the Abarth engines will power the Tatuus chassis for the series organized by ACI Csai and promoted by WSK Promotion.

Meanwhile, inquiries from drivers and teams interested to partake in the series or to buy the single seaters are getting through, not only from Italy.
