Adria's test officially opened the season

Less than 4 months down the road of the programme definition, cars made it to the track for the first time this morning at the Adria International Raceway.

Adria (RO) 16/05/2014 – The first season of the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth started this morning at 9 sharp (local time). Sixteen drivers made it to the track on the Tatuus F4 T014, powered by Abarth run by eighth different teams.
Three cars have been lined up by Adria by Cram with the very young Robert Shwartzman, Mattia Drudi, who has been taking part to the Federal Supercourse a few months ago and Edi Haxhiu.
Two cars have been lined up by Prema Powerteam instead, one given to the Japanese Takashi Kasai and the other to the Ferrari Driver Academy's Canadian Lance Stroll.
Two cars have also been lined up by Euronova Racing one given to another protagonist of the Federal Supercourse, the KF Junior vice-champion Leonardo Pulcini and one to Ivan Mateev who will be racing with SMP Racing by Euronova.


Diegi Motorsport lined up a car that has been driven by the Milanese driver Andrea Russo. Dav Racing made its absolute debut in an Italian series, as the team run by Matteo and Felice Davenia took on track the Brazilian driver Gustavo Bandeira.
Jenzer Motorsport will be back to the Italian championship with two cars given to the Swiss Alain Valente and Nico Rindlisbacker, while team Antonelli Motorsport made its debut in an open wheeled championship with Matteo Desideri and Jonathan Giudice.
Keith Camilleri has been the flag bearer of team Malta Formula Racing managed by the several times champion Danilo Rossi.

A lot of laps have been completed by the drivers on a car that did not show any problems and had a positive response.
A session of private test is going to be held tomorrow with some other drivers on track. The starting grid of the championship so far has 25 cars.
