Formula 4 gets a taste of Imola

ENGINES ON IN IMOLA. The first free practice session opened the racing weekend at Imola with the 22 Abarth F414T engines equipping the Tatuus T014 started screaming on the circuit for the second round of the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth. The circuit Enzo e Dino Ferrari is getting busy now for the pre-race testing that opened the 6th Aci Racing Weekend that also features the Formula 4 race. Teams' priority has been collecting data on the circuit and devising an initial setup of the car, before starting the first challenge on track.

FIRST CHRONOS. The French Brandon Maisano (Prema Power Team) posted quickest lap in 1'47"662, being 35 thousands clear of the Canadian team mate Lance Stroll. The third time was set by the provisional classification leader Andrea Russo (Diegi Motorsport) in 1'48"14, time that put him ahead of Mattia Drudi (F&M). A more complete picture will be available only after the two afternoon sessions though. Qualifying and race 1 are scheduled for tomorrow.
