New starting grid for Race-3

STEWARDS HIT MAISANO WITH A PENALTY DUE TO THE CONTACT WITH RUSSO IN RACE 2. NEW STARTING GRID: STROLL AND DRUDI ON THE FIRST ROW, DRIVERS WAITING FOR THE LAST RACE OF THE IMOLA'S WEEKEND.

THE AWAIT IS MOUNTING AHEAD OF RACE-3.
Mattia Drudi (F&M) is motivated to push and make some progress in the classification, while Lance Stroll (Prema Power Team) wants to pull away in the classification after getting the second place in Race 2. Andrea Russo (Diegi Motorsport) will try and make up for the inconvenience happened at the last lap when he slipped down from P2 in the fight with Maisano. Leonardo Pulcini (Euronova by Fortec) will hunt another good result, after consolidating the fundations of his weekend with a fourth place behind Alan Valente (Jenzer Motorsport). Matteo Cairoli (Antonelli Motorsport) will try to get in the bunch of front runners, as will do Edi Haxhiu (Cram Motorsport), respectively fourth and fifth in qualifying, but this is still not enough to explain the await that is mounting ahead of race-3.

A NEW STARTING GRID.
This context is also made more interesting – with only a few minutes left to the start of Race 3 – by the decision of Sporting Stewards to hand a 5 place grid penalty to Brandon Maisano (Prema Power Team), due to the contact with Russo in Race 2. The new starting grid will have Stroll and Drudi in the first row, followed by Cairoli and Haxhiu in second, with Russo and Ivan Matveev (SMP Racing) in third. Maisano will line up in fourth row alongside Pulcini.

DRUDI'S POINT. Hunting for the lead held by Stroll, the most awaited in Race 3 is going to be Mattia Drudi, who commented his day so far in this way: "In Race 2 I gained some ground to Russo and I got close to attempt an attack. The battle has been fair: I managed to take him and I pulled away, building a security margin to finish ahead of everyone. I checked Stroll's come back and I have seen that his pace would have allowed me to manage in the final laps, therefore I focused on driving and I eventually got a victory that is also a great satisfaction for the whole team F&M. Now I have to start thinking about the classification, even if I start alongside Stroll in Race 3. I will decide the best strategy at the start. I will try and get a place on the podium, but should I have the right chance I would not mind getting even higher.”
