At the start Caldwell is attacked, with no success, by teammate Enzo Fittipaldi, when in the meantime Leonardo Lorandi battles with Petr Ptacek (both Bhai Tech Racing), who spins, leaving free space to his teammate. Edoardo Morricone is out of track a few moments later and Safety Car enters tarck. At the restart Lorandi attacks Fittipaldi with an amazing manoeuvre (Ricciardo style), and overtakes the driver from Prema. Still, in the following turns a group made by Lorandi, Fittipaldi and Gregoire Saucy (Jenzer Motorsport) comes into contact, stopping definitely the Italian, while the Swiss and the Brazilian are relegated in the back positions.
