Abu Dhabi Racing is looking forward to an exciting weekend at the up-and-down Austrian venue of Red Bull Ring. After the good showings by Amna Al Qubaisi in the previous rounds of the Italian Formula 4 Championship powered by Abarth, the 19-year-old female racer from the Emirates will be joined by her sister Hamda. A talented kart racer herself since a very young age, 16-year-old Hamda has already sampled the F4 car with good results and is looking forward to remaining impressive at her first official foray in a highly-competitive single seater environment.

Red Bull Ring has quickly become a classic track for Formula 4. With good room for overtaking and a flowing up-and-down 4.3-kilometre layout, the circuit, sitting in the beautiful Styrian countryside, has often delivered spectacular races and highlighted the driving skills. Thanks to its mix of characteristics, it is also particularly valuable as a training ground for drivers making their first steps in single seaters.

Amna Al Qubaisi

“We are arriving from Hungaroring carrying positive momentum in terms of the pace. Red Bull Ring is a track where there’s a lot to learn especially for the racecraft and traffic situations. It is always exciting to be racing at a Formula 1 venue, and I will do my best to keep up with the progress we showed recently."

Hamda Al Qubaisi

“I cannot wait to begin my first Formula 4 weekend on a great venue like the Red Bull Ring. I feel we prepared well and I am determined to start a positive path which will be key for my future career. I am proud to represent the United Arab Emirates in such a high profile competition and I will do my 100 per cent to bring home the best possible result.”
