Imola race 1: Hauger from third to first

The Norwegian driver is the one who makes the least mistakes, while big ones are made by Stanek and Petecof

First race of the Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth in the ACI Racing Weekend in Imola, which sees a very rich program with 3 plus 1 race recovered from Misano weekend, starts with the victory of the Van Amersfoort driver, Dennis Hauger, who from third position on the grid is the most effective driver of the 4 of a leading group made of Roman Stanek (US Racing), starting from pole, Jonny Edgar (Jenzer Motorsport) and Michael Belov (Bhai Tech Racing).

At the start Hauger is quicker than the second, Edgar, and takes his position, while Stanek has a good start and keeps leadership, while fourth is the Russian Michael Belov.

In the following positions a great battle starts between the two teammates (Prema Powerteam), leader of the championship Gianluca Petecof and Paul Aron, a challenge that leads to a contact between the two when the Brazilian tries to overtake the Aestonian, and finally damages his own car and retires.

Stanek in the meantime leads the race for several laps and the first four are grouped in just 1”, until the Czech driver makes a mistake exiting the track and damaing his front suspension, obliging him to retire.

Accident with Andrea Rosso (Antonelli Motorsport) hitting from behind and pushing out of track Alessandro Famularo (Prema Powerteam). Rosso will be finally penalized 25” in the classification of the race.


Dennis Hauger wins in front of Jonny Edgar and Michael Belov. Excellent recovery up to 4th position by Paul Aron.
