The free practices of 13.05 take place on a torrid day, with temperatures of 31°C, while the asphalt reaches 52°C and the humidity is 57%. In these conditions two Italians stand out, Francesco Pizzi (1’35.028), of Van Amersfoort Racing, and Gabriele Minì (1’35.261) of Prema Powerteam, followed in third position by the Swedish Dino Beganovic, with 1’35.279. With a single driver, therefore, Van Amersfoort seems to continue the excellent performance of 2019, when they won the drivers' title with Dennis Hauger and the team title.

 

Among the best times of the free practice session to highlight the drivers who have started their career from the ACI Sport Federal School, which among other things is present at all the events of the Italian F4 with a fundamental tutoring activity for young talents from karting. Pizzi, Minì, Beganovic and Rosso in the first 5 positions participated both in the evaluation stages carried out by the ACI Sport Federal School in collaboration with Ferrari Driver Academy, in addition to the Supercorso Federale. The same procedure was followed by Leonardo Fornaroli, rookie, who in addition participated in the Kart Summer Camp of the ACI Sport Federal School.
