Andrea Rosso (CRAM Motorsport) grabs the pole position in FP1 with an extraordinary lap just in the last moments of the session, conquering the lead, with 2'08.814, from the Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto (2'09.419), who in any case is relegated by 10 positions for the replacement of the engine in Imola, which was later confirmed "compliant". Third in FP1 the championship leader Gabriele Minì (PREMA Powerteam - 2'10.271), then Filip Ugran (Jenzer Motorsport - 2'10.575), Axel Gnos (G4 Racing -2'10.800) and Santiago Reynoso (Jenzer Motorsport - 2'11.035 ).
In FP2 Bortoleto manages to conquer the pole (2'07.030), followed by the always very fast Minì (2'08.007), then Dino Beganovic (PREMA Powerteam - 2'08.288), an extraordinary Francersco Simonazzi (BVM Racing - 2'08.322) and Andrea Rosso (2'08.427), less effective than in the first session.
Bortoleto also conquers the best second absolute time and race 3 pole, with 2'07.756, followed by Minì and Rosso.
