Bearman and Montoya scored the pole positions in Vallelunga

The English driving for Van Amersfoort scored the pole position for the first and third races, the Colombian driving for Prema scored the pole for race 2.

Fourth and Fifth seasonal pole positions for Oliver Bearman on the track of Vallelunga. The English driver from Van Amersfoort racing, championship leader, setted the best time during the first session of qualifying and he setted the absolute best time in the two sessions, scoring also the first pole position for race 3. First pole position in his career for Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam) who was the fastest in the second session of qualifying. 

In Qualifying 1, the Colombian driving for Prema scored the first row behind Bearman, preceding the duo formed by Han Cenyu (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Charlie Wurz (Prema Powerteam). On the third row will be Tim Tramnitz (US Racing) and Joshua Durksen (Muecke Motorsport) ahead of Kirill Smal (Prema Powerteam) and Lorenzo Patrese (AKM Motorsport), second among the rookies behind Wurz. Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Hamda Al Qubaisi (Prema Powerteam) close the top 10 of the first qualifying session, confirming the great progress after the podium conquered in Misano.

In Qualifying 2 Sebastian Montoya setted the time of 1'33.564 and 1'30'' minutes before the end of the session, the exit of Markogiannis forced the race direction to show the red flag without the possibility to restart the session. So the Colombian driver scored his first pole position ahead of Tramnitz and the Van Amersfoort Racing trio formed by Bearman, Dufek and Cenyu. Sixth time for a sparkling Hamda Al Qubaisi who open a trio all Prema Powerteam with Smal and Laursen who will start from the fourth row. The Danish driver conquered the best time among the rookies ahead of his teammate Charlie Wurz, tenth behind Joshua Durksen.
