A Misano sunset was the perfect backdrop for the qualifying session of the F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth Certified by FIA. Kirill Smal and Oliver Bearman took the pole positions on the track named after Marco Simoncelli, while Leonardo Fornaroli will start from the first row in all three races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

During the first session of qualifying the Russian Prema Powerteam driver was able to get the better of Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) in his last attempt, while Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam) and Oliver Bearman (Van Amersfoort Racing) will start from the second row.

An excellent fifth position for Hambda Al Qubaisi who finished her lap 0.195 seconds behind pole position and precedes the Russian from Van Amersfoort Racing Nikita Bedrin, first among the rookies in front of Jonas Ried (BWT Muecke Motorsport) and Conrad Laursen (Prema Powerteam), respectively tenth and eleventh in the overall standing. Ahead of them Bence Valint (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sami Meguetounif (R-ACE GP).

For the driver from Redditch the pole position for race 3 arrives thanks to the continuous improvements that led him to have the best second time in qualifying with a time of 1’34’’078.

Leonardo Fornaroli will be in first row also in race 2. The Iron Lynx driver from Piacenza got to within 0.182 seconds of Bearman, but he shows to be at ease in Misano.  The second row is a Prema Powerteam lockout in race 2 with Smal in front of the Colombian Montoya, while the third row was composed of R-ACE GP with the French drivers Sami Meguetounif and Victor Bernier. Fourth row for a surprising Hamda Al Qubaisi who precedes the first rookie, Lorenzo Patrese (AKM Motorsport).  Five rookies in row from P8 to P12 with Lorenzo Patrese, Nicolas Baptiste (Cram Motorsport), Nikita Bedrin (Van Amersfoort Racing), Kacper Sztuka (AS Motorsport) and Leonardo Bizzotto (BVM Racing).
