The Finnish team KIC Motorsport has confirmed their participation this year to the newly born Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA, and has indicated the first two drivers who will compete: Konsta Lappalainen and Isac Blomqvist.

Lappalainen, Finnish, year 2001, has been racing in karting until 2016, participating to important races and championships, such as the CIK_FIA European Championship, the WSK Super Master Series and the WSK Champions Cup, all in the OK category, and has won in the same year the OK Finnish Championship. In 2017 Lappalainen has participated in the F4 championships and has obtained an excellent second position in the Formula STCC Nordic. In 2018 the Finnish driver has won the F4 North Europe Zone Championship.

 

Blomqvist, Swedish, year 2001, has raced in karting until 2017, with good results in the OK category in various WSK championships, such as the Champions Cup, the Super Master Series and the Final Cup, in addition to the participation to the CIK-FIA European Championship. In 2018 Bloqvist has conquered third final position in the F4 North Europe Zone Championship.

The complete presentation of Team KIC Motorsport, including eventual additional drivers competing in the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA, will take place in the month of January.
