The 20-year-old Brazilian driver Igor Fraga will be in the line-up of DR Formula by RP Motorsport in the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA, and will so be together with the Mexican Raul Guzman, for a duo of 100% South American drivers.

Kart driver at a very young age, Fraga has raced in such categories in the team of 5 times World kart Champion Danilo Rossi. After 12 years in Japan, where Fraga has competed and won in a number of national and international karting championships, the Brazilian driver has moved to Brazil and raced in single seaters, such as Brazilian Formula 1600 and Formula Vee, to move in 2015 to F3 Brazil Light. Today Fraga is back racing with the team of the 5 times World Champion Danilo Rossi. 

Igor Fraga is, in addition, also the first World Champion of the FIA Gran Turismo Nations Cup, the championship raced with simulators utilized in the FIA-certified Esports, that has taken place in 2018 in Monaco.

With the objective of reaching F1, Fraga has chosen this year to compete in the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA, which represents, after karting and F4, the natural additional step towards the top motorsport championship.
