As expected the superiority of Frederik Vesti (Prema Powerteam) in the qualifying sessions is confirmed also in race 1, on a track with asphalt temperature just close to 50°C. Vesti keeps first position at the start and goes away winning race one with 3”370 on second Enzo Fittipaldi.

At the start David Schumacher loses quite a few positions, while his teammate Marcos Siebert does the opposite and moves up from 6° to 4° position.

At the front Vesti gains space from the followers, first of which Enzo Fittipaldi who gets at midrace closer to the Danish but finally looses more distance and cannot keep the same pace of his teammate. Third, further back, is Olli Caldwell, while a trio made of Igor Fraga (DR Formula by RP Motorsport), Schumacher and Sofia Floersch (Van Amersfoort Racing) battles to the very end of the race, but does really not change initial positions.

Tomorrow race 2 will start at 11:30 and race 3 at 16:40.
