In the free practice session on Friday morning at the Misano Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Prema Powerteam and Ferrari Driver Academy driver Gianluca Petecof on a hot track initially sets the best time with 1'31.502, followed by Arthur Leclerc, also from Prema and younger brother of the most famous Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, with 1'31.427. Follows the Red Bull Junior Team driver Juri Vips, then the only female driver of the 2020 championship, Jamie Chadwick. The temperatures are very hot with the air at 31° C and the asphalt at 51.2 °C, while humidity is 61%.

 

At the end of free practice, Arthur Leclerc scores a clear step forward with 1’30.329, followed by teammates Petecof (1’30.117) and Rasmussen with 1’30.677. Fourth Jamie Chadwick (Prema Powerteam) with 1’30.876, followed by the two KIK Motorsport drivers, Patrick Pasma (1’31.104) and the Red Bull Junior Team driver Juri Vips, with 1’31.278.

 

 

In the afternoon at 18.00 and 18.25 the two 15-minute official practice sessions.
