A hundred and one reasons for excitement set up for the final stage of 2023, on the mixed terrain of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. On December 1st and 2nd, off-road specialists will challenge those of the top series in a single race, alongside many high-profile outsiders. Seven young talents from ACI Team Italia will compete for the Junior Italian title. A guaranteed spectacle over 78 km in 10 special stages, with live coverage on RAI and ACI Sport TV.

In an exclusive competition marked by many retirements, the driver from Treviso, piloting a Skoda Fabia RS, secured his fourth career victory on the legendary asphalt after a dominant race. Avbelj-Andrejka in their Skoda are the Italian Promotion Champions, making their debut in the national competition. Zanin-Moriconi celebrated their first victory in the CIAR Junior. Giordano-Siragusa once again claimed the Italian R1 Championship and the Suzuki Rally Cup. F. Andolfi-Savoia emerged as winners in the GR Yaris Rally Cup.

The Sparco Italian Rally Championship to launch the final sprint in Sanremo

The seventh and penultimate round is coming on September 29th and 30th, with a classic race for the top Italian series. There will be 82 teams, including 9 young Junior drivers from ACI Team Italia, competing on 13 special stages covering 104 km. It is the final challenge to determine the champion in the CIR Promotion category, with 3 drivers in contention. It is a crucial stage for the R1 Championship. There will be extensive TV coverage on RAI and ACI Sport TV, featuring 6 live special stages.

Albertini-Fappani win the Rally 1000 Miglia, Crugnola-Ometto are the first of the CIAR Sparco

The crew from Brescia prevailed in the sixth round of the Sparco Italian Rally Championship aboard a Skoda Fabia, but the Italian Champions in the Citroen C3 came close to a comeback, missing it by 2.5 seconds. Another local crew, Mabellini-Lenzi in a Skoda, secured third place, trailing by 17.2 seconds.

Another solid performance by Crugnola-Ometto that win the power stage of the Rally 1000 Miglia

A masterful performance was put in by the champions in the Citroen C3 as the Sparco Italian Rally Championship restarts. Mabellini-Lenzi and Albertini-Fappani, on their home roads, take points away from the Italian contenders. Pesavento-Frigo once again lead in the CIAR Junior category. In the CIAR 2RM category, Di Pietro-Dresti made a move, while Giordano-Siragusa lead the Suzuki Rally Cup. There is a heated competition in the GR Yaris Rally Cup with Facco-Doria in the lead.

The Sparco Italian Rally Championship resumes from the Rally 1000 Miglia with 190 entered crews

The top-tier Italian series resumes after the summer break with a full roster of participants for the event in Brescia. On Friday, September 8th, and Saturday, September 9th, the competition covers 104 km across 9 special stages. The penultimate round of the national championship will be crucial for the CIR Promotion, CIAR Junior, and CI R1 title races. The challenge in the 2nd Zone Rally Cup is also packed with competitors. It is a turning point for the GR Yaris Rally Cup, and a match point in the Suzuki Rally Cup.

Crugnola-Ometto win the Sparco CIAR’s title at the Rally di Roma

Third title for the driver from Varese, driving a Citroen C3, who conquers the Capital for the first time in a shared challenge with the European Championship, thanks to 8 stage wins out of 13. It is a dominant performance in the Overall category, securing the fifth victory in five rounds. In second place are Basso-Granai, driving a Skoda Fabia RS, trailing by 23s, followed by the New Zealander Paddon with Kennard, driving a Hyundai i20, at 53.8s behind. Pisani-Brachi take the victory and title in the 2WD category with a Peugeot 208. The duo of ACI Team Italia, Daprà-Guglielmetti, stands out in the European Junior Championship.

The Rally di Roma Capitale continues in the mark of Crugnola-Ometto, which dominated day two

The reigning champions continue their flawless performance in the Citroen C3, winning all the stages on Saturday in the round of the Sparco CIAR and the European Championship. With six stages remaining, they have a 20.2s lead over the Skoda Fabia RS of Basso-Granai. The French duo Bonato-Boulloud, also in a C3, is in third place, trailing by 23.7s. The ACI Team Italia pairing, Daprà-Guglielmetti, is doing exceptionally well as the leaders in the Junior category of the European Championship. Pederzani-Brovelli are leading the Junior category in the Italian Rally Championship. Pisani-Brachi are still at the top in the 2WD category.

The Sparco CIAR in the Capital: The Italian rally challenges the European one in Rome

The fifth round of the Italian Championship promises spectacle and excitement, from July 28th to July 30th, alongside the international stars of the FIA ERC and the Zone Rally Cup with 126 crews participating. The challenges will start at the Colosseum, followed by two days on the roads of the Frusinate region, with 13 special stages covering 190 km. Crugnola-Ometto are racing for a back-to-back title, Pisani for the 2WD title. ACI Team Italia brings three aces to the European Championship, plus 10 Juniors in the Italian championship.

The winners of San Marino’s Rally are Gryazin in the Gravel Trophy and Crugnola Sparco Italian Rally Championship

A great battle on the gravel roads around the Titan, spectacular until the last of the 9 special stages. The WRC2 driver with Aleksandrov in a Skoda takes the victory. In an extremely close second place, 32s behind, is the leader of the Absolute category in a Citroen C3, achieving a fourth consecutive Italian championship win. Andreucci-Briani, also in a Skoda, secure a podium finish by just 1 tenth of a second. It is a double win for Pesavento-Frigo in the CIAR Junior category.

102 for a super San Marino Rally: a triple challenge for the Sparco CIAR, CIR Gravel Trophy and Historic CIRT

100 and more reasons for the off-road spectacle of the Small Country, with five validities, taking place on June 16th and 17th over 74 km and 9 special stages. Debut on the gravel roads for the Absolute and Junior categories, alongside the second challenge for the specialists of the Italian Gravel Trophy and the Rally Zone Cup. The Rally Regione Piemonte starts in the mark of Crugnola-Ometto, Citroen C3, that won the Power Stage of the CIAR Sparco

In the first special stage in Alba, covering 2.29 km, the best time went to the French duo Lefebvre-Malfoy in a Citroen C3 Rally2, 0.5s ahead of the leaders of the Italian Rally Championship who secured 3 points. Third overall time at 1.3s by De Tommaso-D'Ambrosio in another Skoda, a result that earned them 2 points. Also in the top three for the Italian Rally Championship with points were Andolfi-Gonella, in a Skoda, at 1.6s behind. Saturday will see the decisive phase with 7 more special stages.

A packed second round: 188 at the start of the Sparco Italian Rally Championship at the Rally Regione Piemonte

An impressive number of cars are expected to compete in the Langhe region, near Alba, for two days of shows on Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th. 95 teams will compete in the Italian Rally Championship, along with 93 teams for the opening round of the Coppa Rally 1st Zone ACI Sport, facing the challenge of 8 special stages covering 101 kilometres competitive. The event will feature top Italian drivers, as well as drivers from 13 different nationalities, including WRC Plus cars, making it a complete motorsport event. The rally will be broadcast live on RAI Sport and ACI Sport.

CIAR Junior 2023 introduction, 12 crews of ACI Team Italia for the National title

 


An imperial evening in front of the Colosseum to announce the project and the new competitors for the ACI Sport youth championship. Six rounds, between gravel and tarmac, will be faced aboard Renault Clio Rally5 provided by Motorsport Italia and fitted with Pirelli tyres. The Scuola Federale renews its didactic program with tests and individual training. The winner of CIAR Sparco will get a 75.000 € prize money to take part in an international program.
