A beautiful and sporty path the one of 2021, presented today in the press conference at Palazzo Piloni, seat of the Municipal Administration of Belluno.

An opportunity to restart, as defined by the President of the Province of Belluno, Roberto Padrin, for an area that has a lot to offer in landscape and naturalistic terms. It is in fact a brand, that of the Coppa D’Oro delle Dolomiti belonging to the Automobile Club Belluno, which always aims at enhancing the wonderful Dolomite landscapes hosting the competition.

However, this year's edition will be no joke, the President of AC Belluno Lucio De Mori underlines it, "tomorrow morning it is going to be hard!", recounting a route of over five hundred km and "at least fifteen thousand curves", according to his esteem, for an edition that, he continues, “we wanted to be very though to satisfy even the most competitive crews”.

The first day we leave Cortina for the Giau pass, then Falzarego and the “intra i Sass” of the Valparola pass, then the delle Erbe pass up to Bressanone and the Abbazzia di Novacella, where we will stop for lunch.

Then we set off again for Vandoies, Terento, Chienes, towards the Furcia pass. then Valdaora, Villabassa and Dobbiaco to return to the south and return to the headquarters of the Miramonti Majestic Grand Hotel through the Tre Croci pass.

The very rich tour will be the preview of a second equally important day: this time from Cortina to descend towards the Belluno area, passing through Cadore, then Ponte nelle Alpi and the inevitable passage to Belluno, in the heart of the city, to piazza dei Martiri. "It's market day" recalls the President of AC Belluno, proud to finally be able to bring back the spectacle of the magnificent vintage cars, not only before the eyes of fans, but also in everyday city life. The Mille Miglia of the mountain will then continue its journey on the second day touching several other locations in the Dolomites to then conclude the stage again in Cortina, the Queen of the Dolomites, this time passing through the Duran pass, Forcella Staulanza and finally Giau pass.

The competition is guaranteed for the race valid for the Campionato Italiano Grandi Eventi ACI Sport, an opportunity that does not fail to attract the top drivers of Italian regularity competitors, in a complex, sporty and more than satisfactory course, but without excluding the usual space dedicated to natural beauties offered by the Dolomites in an area of universal value, recognized as a Unesco heritage.

At the press conference also Marco Rogano, General Manager of ACI Sport S.p.a, who opens with the greetings of the ACI President Angelo Sticchi Damiani, as every year in Cortina as a participant. "This year" continues "the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti pursues a point of great interest for ACI, that of sustainability, it is in fact the first national competition to obtain environmental certification"

A bright future, the one ahead the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti, with almost one hundred crews in the starting blocks, even in times still graved by the uncertainty of the pandemic that forced some regulators to not partaking the event. Different nations are represented, with many pre-war cars competing, the oldest being the 1927 Bugatti 37A of the top drivers Belotti - Plebani. A great event for everyone is guaranteed, enthusiasts and not, which will showed by the media deployment of this year, even ACI Sport TV will be part of the competition.
