Monza: Peter Kox's flight to the best time of qualifying 2

The Dutch champion at the wheel of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 600 of GT3 class will set off from the pole position of race 2 and will find Dindo Capello at his side.

15/10/2011 – He is one of the strongest drivers of the world at the wheel of Touring racing cars and this was proven in Monza too. Peter Kox (Lamborghini Gallardo GT3), beated all the rivals in the second qualifying with a laptime of 1´47.461. In race two, scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, the driver of Reiter Engineering will find Dindo Capello (Audi R 8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia) at his side thanks to the laptime of 1´47.905.
The fastest time in GT2 was set by Stefano Gai (Ferrari 458 Italia-AF Corse), absoulte fourth,in 1.49.361, in the GT Cup Fabio Babini (Lamborghini Gallardo-Team Imperiale) set the fastest time in 1´50.497, while in GT4 Matteo Cressoni (Ginetta G50-Nova Race) was the fastest in 1´59.428 ahead of Vincenzo Donativi (Porsche Cayman-Star Cars-2´00.346).

The schedule for tomorrow includes race one’s start at 11.10 (local time, GMT+2) while race two will start at 16.10 (both with live coverage on Nuvolari).
