Monza: the tricolored crown goes to Marco Bonanomi (GT3), Giorgio Sanna and Davide Stancheris (GT Cup) and Tiziano Cappelletti (GT4)

The second race of the weekend was won by the crew Amos-Kox (Lamborghini Gallardo) and the couple set a stunning double victory at the debut in the Italian tricolored GT.

16/10/2011 - At the end of the fourteenth and last race of the season the titles of classes GT3, GT Cup and the National Trophy CSAI GT4 of the 9th edition of the Italian GR Championship have been awarded in Monza.

The crown of the GT3 went to the 26 years old from Lecco Marco Bonanomi (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia), the GT Cup title went to Giorgio Sanna and Davide Sancheris (Lamborghini Gallardo-team Imperiale), while the victory of the National Trophy CSAI GT4 title went to Tiziano Cappelletti (Ginetta G50-Nova Race).

The title of class GT2 was early assigned to Victor and Giovanni Coggiola (Porsche RSR-Victor Racing Team), while the second race of the weekend saw the crew Amos-Kox (Lamborghini Gallardo GT3), on the top step of the podium ahed of the two Audi R8 LMS of Albuquerque-Bonanomi and Sonvico-Capello.

In GT2 the success went to Radaelli-Gai (Ferrari F 458-AF Corse), in the GT Cup to Fornaroli-Mastronardi (Porsche 997-GDL Racing), after the 25 seconds penalty given after the race to the new champions Sanna-Stancheris, while the top step of the podium of the GT4 was obtained once again by Rangoni-Ponti.
