One-two for ROAL Motorsport's color bearers that made the void behind them. Third position for the Ferrari 458 Italia of Lancieri-Cirò. Win to Babini-Bianco (Porsche 997) in GT Cup.
ROAL Motorsport's color bearers obtained a splendid one-two with Comandini-Colombo, at their first win of the season, and Michela Cerruti, dominating the scene since the initial stages of the race.
Both lineups kept a quite high race pace and the Milanese driver managed to stay close to the poleman Colombo in the first stint and to Comandini in the second fraction.
Third step of the podium for Lancieri-Cirò (Ferrari 458 Italia-MP1 Corse) who led the two Porsche GT3Rs of Passuti-Mapelli (Antonelli Motorsport) and Postiglione-Lucchini (Ebimotors) as well as the Ferrari 458 Italia of Venturi-Maino (Black Bull Swisse Racing).
Bad luck for the two Audis R8 LMS belonging to Audi Sport Italia. Frassineti-Krtistoffersson started from the pit lane and were penalyzed by some electronic problems affecting the shifts which made them end in seventh position, while Sonvico-Capello, ended in the back places after a contact at the start with the Lamborghini Gallardo of Sanna-Barri, and the following replacement of a steering arm.
In GT Cup the victory went to the classification leader Babini-Bianco (GDL Racing) who managed to pass Antonelli Motorsport's Rangoni-Galbiati and Donativi-Macchiavelli, on Porsche 997, during the last lap.
Race 2 is scheduled for this afternoon at 14.40 (GMT+2); the race will be shown recorded on Raisport 2 at 17.20 while it will be available through live web streaming at www.acisportitalia.it/GT.
