In GT3 the victory went to the Ferrari 458 Italia of Benucci-Niboli (MP1 Corse), at the debut of the season, who led the sister car driven by La Mazza-Magli (Easy Race) and the Porsche GT3R of Venerosi-Baccani (Ebimotors). Both races will be broadcast live on AutomotoTV and in web streaming on www.acisport.it/CIGT.

SUPER GT3: Antonelli Motorsport’s pairing took a deserved win that was secured in the second stint after a good start put in by Zampieri who kept P2 for the whole first stint chasing poleman Stefano Gai, who had been very quick at the start. The Italian provisional Super GT3 classification leader after the two wins of Imola, had to serve a 30s time handicap at the pit stop, where he did not hand the wheel over to anybody as his co-equiper Mirko Venturi was not present. Back on track, he rejoined in P7, as the lead was taken by Zampieri’s co-equiper Agostini, who led Treluyer and Malucelli, as the latter two started a good duel for the podium. At lap 20 the two had a contact and the French was handed a drive through penalty which made him slip down to P9, while Malucelli rejoined from sixth. The closing stages saw a good duel between the Scuderia Baldini 27 driver and Gai, who managed to get past at lap 25. The driver from Milan tried to get his position back all the way to the flag. At the finish line, Agostini and co-equiper Zampieri, took the first win of the season, leading a great Cerqui who took over from Comandini, as first of the non PRO lineups. The third step of the podium went to Veglia and Valente at the end of a solid and wise race, as Leo-Baruch, Cheever-Malucelli, Stefano Gai and Beretta-Frassineti followed them. Ombra Racing’s lineup run a strong race with Beretta that was strong in the first stint and managed to keep P3, while Frassineti had to serve the 20s time penalty due to the great result obtained in Imola and slipped down to the back. At the flag Pastorelli-Pezzucchi took their Mercedes AMG GT3 car to the third step of the podium, while the ninth position went Treluyer-Ghirelli. The young Italian driver put in a great first stint that saw him climbing up to P4, but a penalty handed to the French in the second stint stripped Audi Sport Italia’s lineup from the chance of fighting for the podium. Cassarà-Gentili, closed tenth, while Schirò-Melo (Ferrari 488-Easy Race) retired due to an early contact of the Italian driver.
