Over 260 drivers in Sarno for the fourth round of the ACI Karting Italian Championship

At the weekend of August 28, the International Circuit Napoli of Sarno will host the race valid also for the single round championship of the two categories OK and OKJ: 27 drivers will contest OK and 44 OKJ. The participation in KZ2, MINI Gr3, 60 Minikart, X30 Junior and X30 Senior is good too.

The fourth round of the ACI Karting Italian Championship is about to start in Sarno and figures are great also on this occasion after the three rounds held in Franciacorta (335 drivers), Ugento (246) and Castelletto (308). At the weekend of August 28, a total of 260 drivers will gather at the International Circuit Napoli to contest categories KZ2, MINI Gr.3, 60 Minikart, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, OK and OKJ the latter two will in fact run the single round reserved to these international categories.

Good numbers in OK and OKJ.
OK and OKJ will have the chance to start clocking up some mileage on Wednesday, August 24, and will feature good numbers: the provisional entry list includes 27 drivers in OK and 44 in OKJ. This is also due to the tyres allocation in the two categories: MG for OK and Vega for OK Junior, which is the same choice made by the two international categories in the FIA Karting World Championship that will take place in Sarno next September 18.

Significant participation in the other categories too.
The participation is very good also in the other categories present in Sarno. The provisional entry list contains 65 drivers in MINI Gr.3, 30 in 60 Minikart, about 30 in KZ2, 40 in X30 Junior and 25 in X30 Senior.

The classification leaders.
After the opening three rounds, the provisional leaders of the classification are the following. In KZ2, Danilo Albanese stands on top at 159 points, while his teammate Mirko Torsellini is second at 117 points, Leonardo Marseglia third at 106. In the Under 18, Moritz Ebner is leading the pack at 162 points.
MINI Gr3 is led by Christian Costoya Christian Costoya with 192 points, Iacopo Martinese is second at 172 and Dries Van Langendonck is third at 151.
In 60 Minikart Domenico Coco is leading the standings with 134 points, while Gioele Girardello is second at 105 and Edoardo Mario Sulpizio is third at 103.
In X30 Junior, Antonio Apicella is first at 181 points, followed by Riccardo Cirelli at 143 and Giacomo Maman at 122.
Danny Carenini is leading X30 Senior with 171 points, Sebastiano Pavan is second at 111 points, Riccardo Ianniello third at 75.

The provisional classification.
Wednesday, August 24: free practice OK and OKJ.
Thursday, August 25: free practice for all categories.
Friday, August 26: free practice and qualifying practice.
Saturday, August 27: qualifying heats and second chance races.
Sunday, August 28: double finals in live TV coverage and Live streaming with race-1 starting from 9:30, and race-2 from 14:00.

FINALS ON TV AND LIVE STREAMING. The double finals will go live on ACI Sport TV (Sky 228), Live Streaming and on-demand from www.acisport.it and Facebook (Italian ACI Karting Championship page) from 9:30 (race-1) and 14:00 (race-2). Mediaset Group’s MS Sport will show the races recorded.
