Davide Uboldi, then Matteo Roccadelli and Filippo Lazzaroni fastest in Free Practice 2

The second free practice session for Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi was also concluded at Vallelunga's Piero Taruffi circuit. Once again to excel on the track nearby Rome is Davide Uboldi, with his Wolf GB08 Thunder closing the best lap of the session with 1'34.371. Following him, with the second best time, is Matteo Roccadelli (+0.014); then Filippo Lazzaroni (+0.098). P4 to Giacomo Pollini (+0.155), the current drivers’ standings leader.

Fifth best time for the Swede Erik Stilmann (+0.483), ahead of Matteo Pollini (+0.502). The gap then increased from P7, with Santiago Mejia (+1.317). Eighth time for the leader of the Master standings, Andrea Mosca, followed by the leader of the Under 25 standings, the Enna driver Alessio Salvaggio. Tenth best time for Simon Hulten, then the Colombian David Molina, followed by Linus Hellberg and Joe Castellano.

The day of the Prototypes at the ACI Racing Weekend at the Vallelunga circuit is not over yet though, the next appointment is already in the evening, at 17.30, with the qualifying session that will decide the poleman of race 1, as well as awarding the first point of the weekend.

The race will then start tomorrow, Sunday 3 July, at 10.20 (25' +1 lap). Race 2, on the other hand, will start at 16.20.
