Davide Uboldi's impeccable weekend continues with the first race of CISP at the ACI Racing Weekend Vallelunga. The poleman makes a perfect start and exploits the advantage gained in qualifying, dominates the race, with little to no opposition, and takes the win. Confident of his qualities, already shown over the weekend, Uboldi at Vallelunga has a different pace to all the others. Behind him comes Filippo Lazzaroni, who takes the second step of the podium with an overtaking move at Soratte turn on Matteo Pollini, third. Matteo and Giacomo Pollini got off to an excellent start, getting ahead of Matteo Roccadelli in the early stages of the race. Then the driver from Vercelli took back the P2 in which he started, putting the two cousins behind him. The plan, already announced on the grid, was to sprint immediately, hoping for a race without contact, to race with Uboldi.

Unfortunately it did not come to fruition in the race: Roccadelli chased the Como driver, managed to close the gap and set the fastest lap (1'34.292). Thenis  slowed down by the battle with Matteo Pollini, he remains in front until his Wolf GB08 Thunder spins in turn 4 and slips behind.  He makes a comeback, climbs positions, seems to settle in P7, a strategic position for the second race of the day (start at 16.20), but then finishes 9th.

Matteo Pollini sprints off at the start of the race, following his cousin Giacomo in the hunt for the podium, he will then be the first to win in the fight inside the Curva dei Cimini. Giacomo Pollini, who was then also tucked in by Filippo Lazzaroni, did not find the optimal set-up: in race 1 he suffered and then ended up in P5 behind Erik Stilmann. The Swedish driver remained just out of the podium, managing to overcome the misfortunes that had accompanied him in the first part of the season. His start was excellent, then he flawlessly drove his race and brought home the result.

Filippo Lazzaroni slipped in from the rear and fought for a long time with Matteo Pollini, got the better of hi at the Soratte turn and put himself at the front, Pollini tried to catch him on several occasions, in the first, he got close to him but suffered a tyre block and had to give up.

Alessio Salvaggio's race was a good one, but it ended with nothing for the Sicilian driver, who was stopped by a technical problem and was forced to pull over and give up race 1.

There was a good fight between Andrea Mosca and David Acosta Molina, which went on for most of the race, before the winner of the Master class managed to come out on top.

The arrival order is: 1. Uboldi; 2. Lazzaroni; 3. 4. Stilmann; 5. Pollini G.; 6. Hulten; 7. Mosca; 8. Hellberg; 9. Roccadelli; 10. Acosta Molina.

Giacomo Pollini mantains the leadership in the standings after the first race of the weekend, with Davide Uboldi now second on equal points with Roccadelli and thus redeeming himself from the Misano weekend.

Race 2 of the Wolf Racing Cars will close weekend, starting at 16.20, with Emil Hellberg in pole position flanked by Andrea Mosca. Second row for Simon Hulten and Giacomo Pollini.

Davide Uboldi: "A month ago I said it, a month later I did it. I had a moment of panic because when I had a good lead, I had a technical problem and got stuck in neutral. There I got scared. I did the procedure to install the gear and, fortunately, I managed to do it. Beside that, it was a perfect race: starting at the green light like a jaguar, with the reflexes of a kid. This victory is important because after two negative results we needed it, I hope to do just as well this afternoon."
