Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi returns to the track for round 4, this weekend at the Mugello Circuit. Short break after Vallelunga and immediately everything is ready again for the hot battles of the Wolf GB08 Thunder of CISP.

On the Tuscan circuit Giacomo Pollini will have to defend the leadership in the drivers standings from the assaults of Davide Uboldi, who became second just in the last race of the weekend in Rome. The driver from Como is the one who collected the highest score in round 3, so he will start with the maximum load, in a weekend that promises to be sunny again and hit by great heat. Matteo Roccadelli will be looking for redemption, as will Matteo Pollini, with whom the fight for the top spot in the classification is still fierce.

Open challenge therefore on all fronts: in the overall classification the duels will ignite the show, with everything still to be written in the clash at the top, but open fight also in the various classes with battles at the top between Andrea Mosca and Giovanni Mazza in the Master standings, while the latter is the first among Rookie. In the Under 25 Roccadelli is leading, in a fierce fight with Alessio Salvaggio, David Acosta Molina and Filippo Lazzaroni.

The weekend of the Wolf GB08 Thunder started early again, with some of the drivers taking the opportunity to hit the track in a long collective test session (4 hours) to start the finishing touches before round 4 is officially underway. On this occasion the fastest lap was set by Filippo Lazzaroni, with 1'46.803, in a first contact with the track that went up to 56°. Troubles at the end of the session for Andrea Mosca, who hits the barriers and damages the rear of his car.
Here the output of the session.

The activities of the Wolf Racing Cars for the actual race appointment start instead on Friday 15 July, with two free practice sessions in the morning (9.00-9.25 and 12.25-12.50) before proceeding already to qualifying, in a single session from 17.40 to 18.05.

Race 1 will be on Saturday 16 July, starting at 14.20 (25'+1 lap), while Race 2 (25'+1 lap) will be on Sunday 17 July at 9.00. Both races will be broadcasted live on television on ACI Sport TV, Sky channel 228 and www.acisport.it, and in live streaming on Facebook and Youtube channels @cisprototipi.
