Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi (Prema Theodore Racing) starts well in Mugello conquering all three pole positions, thanks to best laps in QP1 and QP2 and best absolute second time. At his back his two teammates, Gianluca Petecof and Olli Caldwell, who somehow help him positioning themselves in front of Leonardo Lorandi (Bhai Tech Racing), “only” third and fourth respectively in QP1 and QP2.

In a cool and cloudy day, where rain should though fall strongly tomorrow, QP2 has been almost 8 tenths of a second faster than QP1. In session 2 virtual safety car, activated due to out of track of Alessio Deledda (Technorace), has complicated the job by drivers in their search of best lap time.

“Qualifying counts only 30% of the weekend”, comments Enzo Fittipaldi, “I will try to start ahead and keep first position for the entire race”.

“I do not know what to recriminate”, says Lorandi, “apart from the fact that virtual safety car has been activated in the worse moment for me. Anyway, all is still open”.

This afternoon race 1 will start at 13.05 local time and will go live streaming on Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/italianf4championship/, and starting at 17:30 on Sportitalia TV. Tomorrow race 2 will start at 9:00 and race 3 at 15:30. Details and standings on www.acisport.it/it/F4/home.
