0.035 the gap between Oliver Bearman and Sebastian Montoya in the free practice session at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola. The fourth round of the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth Certified by FIA started on the Imola track with the challenge between the leader of the standings and the Colombian driving for Prema Powerteam who, at the moment, occupies the third place in the overall standings, but who will be able to take advantage of the absence of the German Tim Tramnitz, who is second. A challenge that, however, sees Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) and Kirill Smal (Prema Powerteam) ready to insert themselves between the two. Between the best time of Bearman and Smal, fourth at the end of free practice, there are only 3 tenths and qualifying, which will start tomorrow morning at 9.40 am, will be exciting and uncertain as usual.

Excellent fifth time for Francesco Braschi (Jenzer Motorsport) who also conquers the virtual pole position among the rookies, putting behind him Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and a wild Maya Weug who setted the second time among the rookies with the Tatuus of Iron Lynx. The Dutch driver of Ferrari Driver Academy seems to be at ease on the Bologna circuit and she is firmly in the top 10 both in the first and in the second free practice session.

Excellent times also for Erick Zuniga (Muecke Motorsport), Nikita Bedrin (Van Amersfoort Racing), third among the rookies, and Piotr Wisnicki (Jenzer Motorsport) who complete the top 10, all setting their best performance in the second session of the day with the air temperature around 32° and the asphalt temperature at 54°. Only 5 drivers get the best time in the first session with "milder" temperatures (29° air - 49° asphalt): Joshua Durksen (Muecke Motorsport) 14th, Hamda Al Qubaisi (Prema Powerteam) 23rd, the rookie Maceo Capieto (Prema Powerteam) 25th, Levente Revesz (AKM Motorsport) and Pedro Perino (DR Formula).

Among the rookies the leader of the standings Leonardo Bizzotto (BVM Racing) does not shine in the free practice, only sixteenth behind Lorenzo Patrese (AKM Motorsport) with Conrad Laursen (Prema Powerteam) twelfth.
