Bearman super in qualifying. 3 poles for the British driver

Best times for the leader of the standings in both the qualifying sessions and the second best time overall gives him the pole position also for race 3. Fornaroli is always in the first row.

“A leader. His suit is black and orange”. Oliver Bearman is uncatchable in qualifying at the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola. The British driving for Van Amersfoort takes everything he can get, setting the best time in both the sessions and also achieving the third pole position thanks to his second best time overall.  The championship leader will always start from the first position, while at his side he will always have the black and yellow Tatuus of Iron Lynx drived by Lenorardo Fornaroli. The driver from Piacenza comes back to the first positions after the bad weekend in Vallelunga, and he will try to threaten the English of Van Amersfoort, proposing a duel Italy-England, very polular in the last period. Even in Imola the gaps between the first 12 drivers in Q1 and the first 8 in Q2 were enclosed within a second. 

The second row of race 1 will be composed by Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam) and Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing), followed in the third row by their teammates Kirill Smal and Nikita Bedrin, first among the rookies in the first qualifying session in Imola. Seventh time for Francesco Braschi who continues to be at ease in Imola on the Jenzer Motorsport car and also conquers the second time among the rookies at only 0.016 seconds from Bedrin. The top ten of the starting grid for race 1, scheduled today at 4.10pm, will be completed by by the Muecke Motorsport couple formed by Joshua Durksen and Erick Zuniga with Conrad Laursen (Prema Powerteam) tenth and third rookie ahead of Maya Weug (iron Lynx).

The Dutch of Ferrari Driver Academy, in the last stages of the second qualifying session was the author of an exit from the track that did not allow her to improve the sixteenth time. Behind Bearman and Fornaroli, in race 2, which will start at 10.20 am on Sunday, there will be Francesco Braschi (Jenzer Motorsport) who confirms to be one of the best at Imola. Sebastian Montoya will start at his side, while the third row will be all Russian with Nikita Bedrin and Kirill Smal ahead of Erick Zuniga (Muecke Motorsport) and Bence Valint (Van Amersfoort Racing). Surprising ninth place for Pietro Armanni (Iron Lynx) who entered the qualifying top 10 for the first time ahead of Joshua Durksen.
