Misano Adriatico (RN) – 3 June 2021- It will be a very long weekend for the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth Certified by FIA. The propaedeutic series by ACI Sport will see on the track of Misano World Circuit - Marco Simoncelli 30 Tatuus single seaters powered by Abarth and tyred Pirelli already on Thursday with 4 hours of collective test and the first session of free practice. On Friday there will be free practice and qualifying with 2 races scheduled for Saturday 5th June and race 3 that will close the weekend on Sunday at 12.25 pm. 

Among the protagonists of the second round of the season, Tramnitz will not be present. The championship’ leader, as well as the whole US Racing team, has only few appointments in the season scheduled. After his double win in Le Castellet he won’t take part in the second round, leaving the field open to his direct pursuers. Kirill Smal (Prema Powerteam) and Oliver Bearman (Van Amersfoort Racing)  will be able to take advantage of it on track, but they will not be the only ones fighting for the top positions, indeed behind them Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam), Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) and Joshua Durksen (BWT Muecke Motorsport) are ready to the battle. With 75 points up for grabs this weekend, anything is possible, especially with 30 cars on track ready to do battle on a technical track like the one named to the rider from Coriano.

If in the overall standing there are many contenders for the top positions, in the rookies’ one it is an open battle. Maya Weug (Iron Lynx) has jumped on the lead thanks to her great continuity during the first three races, but the young Dutch driver of the Ferrari Driver Academy needs to do her best, because she is threatened by 8 good pursuers enclosed in 18 points. Only one point of difference with the German Jonas Ried (BWT Muecke Motorsport) and 6 of advantage with the Polish of AS Motorsport Kacper Sztuka. However, in the fight, there are also Leonardo Bizzotto (BVM Racing), Conrad Laursen (Prema Powerteam), Lorenzo Patrese (AKM Motorsport), Marcus Amand (R-ACE GP), Francesco Braschi (Jenzer Motorsport) and Nikita Bedrin (Van Amersfoort Racing). 

Misano’s weekend, will allow teams and drivers to stack up many kilometers during the morning of Thursday thanks to the first collective test of the season. Several teams will take advantage of the 4 hours of free track to put on track drivers that will be able to further lengthen the starting grid during the season. Fundamental the contribution of the Scuola Federale ACI Sport, directed by Raffaele Giammaria with the supervision of Emanuele Pirro and the instructors Gabriele Lancieri and Niki Cadei. During the weekend there will be several moments between drivers and instructors, like the commentary of qualifying and races as well as some theoretical pills on the technique of the vehicles and on the regulations.
