The French-Finnish junior talent Marcus Amand will start with US Racing in this year's Italian Formula 4 Championship and enters in his second season with single-seater racing.

After competing his Rookie season last year in ADAC Formula 4, the main target will be the Italian Formula 4 Championship.

“I am happy to finally announce that I will race this year with US Racing. We already had some good test days this winter and were very happy working together, I could improve myself and felt very confident in the car. Now I am very motivated getting to know the new generation Tatuus Formula 4 car and full focus on this year Formula 4 season”, explains the 16-year old.

“Marcus has a big talent,  as shown in his very successful karting career. I was very happy with the tests we had together and I am sure Marcus can show his talent and speed in this year's Formula 4 season”, adds Gerhard Ungar.

Ralf Schumacher is also pleased for the new US Racing team member: “I've watched Marcus already in karting and I believe he is a very talented young driver that has a big potential. I am very excited for the upcoming race season with Marcus and I’m sure we will see some good highlights of him this year”.
