After competing for three race events last year with US Racing in ADAC Formula 4, the 16 year old from Ireland, Alex Dunne will start his second season with US Racing in the Italian Formula 4 Championship with the new Tatuus F4 Gen 2 car.

“Last year I felt really good racing with US Racing in Formula 4. We had some really good race weekends in F4 and I was able to develop and grow as a race driver. This year, we will have the new Tatuus Formula 4 car. While competing in the Formula 4 UAE Championship, I was able to get to know the car and get practice. We are now in the middle of the season preparation with Testing in Europe and it is a lot fun, getting to know the car and the tracks in Europe. I have high demands on myself and will give everything together with my Team to have a successful season 2022”, explains the 16 year old.

“Alex is a very talented, young driver which he already showed in last years’ races. Alex is very ambitious and fast, a good combination for a talented junior race driver. I am very happy to build on last years race season and working together also in 2022. The upcoming race season 2022 will be a special season with new challenges, especially with the new Tatuus F4 Gen 2, which I am very much looking forward to”, admits Gerhard Ungar.

Ralf Schumacher is also pleased to work again with Alex in 2022: “Alex has a big potential to become a professional race driver, which he showed already last year. I am sure we will see some great races of Alex this year.”
