AKM with Uzbekistani Akhmedkhodjaev and Brazilian Clerot in the Italian F4 Championship 2022

Ismail Akhmadekhodjaev will be deployed full time, the Brazilian Rookie will participate in the first appointments

AKM Motorsport team announces the names of the two drivers with whom it will take part in the Italian F4 Championship certified by FIA. A commitment that the team led by Marco Antonelli will face by deploying a car full-time for the Rookie Ismail Akhmedkhodjaev and a second car in the first rounds of the calendar for the Brazilian Rookie Pedro Clerot.

Uzbekistani driver Akhmedkhodjaev, who turned 17 last December, can boast significant international karting experience before making his single-seater debut at the beginning of 2022, taking part in all the Formula 4 UAE events on the Yas Marina and Dubai circuits, disputing a total of 20 races and grinding important kilometers with a view to his next debut in Italy with AKM Motorsport.

Clerot, on the other hand, has just turned 15 and has already been particularly prominent during the tests that took place in Monza in mid-April with the new Tatuus T-021, which will be used in the series this season. On the Brianza circuit, the driver from Brasilia was by far the fastest of all at the end of two days of testing among the almost thirty cars on the track.

AKM Motorsport is in its third season in the Italian F4, in which it officially made its entry into 2020 by launching some young talents such as Lorenzo Patrese, Levi Révész and Taylor Barnard.

The Italian F4 Championship, at its ninth edition, this year will be divided into seven different events, including two European appointments. The first will take place in Imola on the weekend of 7 and 8 May. Misano will host the second round on June 4th and 5th. Then in Spa (Belgium) on the 18th and 19th of the same month. At the beginning of July it will be the turn of Vallelunga. Then, after the summer break, the Austrian stage of the Red Bull Ring (10/11 September), while in October Monza and Mugello will close the Championship.
