On the occasion of the 2nd round of the Italian F.4 Championship certified by FIA at Misano World Circuit, the weekend started with a long collective test session, on track from 9.00 to 13.00. The teams of the Championship took advantage of the opportunity to carry out tests, even with drivers who will not take part in the weekend's races later on, so 37 drivers went to the track in the new Tatuus cars inaugurated this year.

The fastest lap was set by Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Prema Racing, who was also the only one to go under the 1'36'' wall. The best lap was in fact signed with 1'35.682. Next up was the current Championship leader, Alexander Dunne, Irish driver under US Racing colors, who followed Antonelli at +0.536; third fastest lap to his team mate Marcus Amand with +0.567.

Next up was Prema Racing's Brazilian driver, Rafael Camara; then Kacper Sztuka, Polish driver of US Racing; Charlie Wurz, Prema's Austrian, followed by teammate James Wharton. Eighth best lap for Nikhil Bohra, US Racing, followed by Nikita Bedrin (PHM Racing, last season's Rookie Champion), with Emerson Fittipaldi Jr. completing the top 10, a young Van Amersfoort Racing talented driver. Still within a second's gap from leader was Martinius Stenshorne, also wearing the colours of Frits Van Amersfoort's Dutch team.

Only a starter today on the track, with a weekend full of spectacle that will bring the single-seaters back on track tomorrow with free practice in two sessions, the first from 12.15 to 12.55, the second from 17.10 to 17.50. On Saturday 4 June, two 15-minute qualifying sessions will start at 9.30 and 9.55, before race 1, which will get underway from the Romagna circuit straight at 17.50. Sunday race 2 and race 3, respectively at 9.40 and at 17.40. The three race sessions, lasting 30' + 1 lap, will be streamed live on the Italian F.4 Facebook and Youtube channels and broadcast live on ACI Sport TV.
