Andrea Kimi Antonelli is the fastest in Free Practice 1

At Misano World Circuit the driver from Bologna set the fastest time in the first session

After Thursday's collective tests, the ACI Racing Weekend in Romagna is underway for the new generation Tatuus single-seaters of the Italian F.4 Championship certified by FIA. In the first approach to the track with Free Practice 1 in the morning, the great speed already shown at Imola in the first round by Andrea Kimi Antonelli strikes again. The ACI Team Italia driver, wearing the colors of Prema Racing. The young driver from Bologna, also a Mercedes Junior Driver, brings home the best lap with 1'35.758.

He is followed by two US Racing drivers, Marcus Amand and Alexander Dunne, at +0.202 and +0.213 respectively. Setting the fourth best time is Prema Racing's Brazilian, Rafael Camara, one of the drivers in the series who can count on the support of Ferrari Driver Academy. Keep sharing the top positions are US Racing drivers Kacper Sztuka, fifth in practice, and Prema Racing with Charlie Wurz and Conrad Laursen. Eighth best lap for the Norwegian of Van Amersfoort Racing, Martinius Stenshorne, who had already brought an excellent performance and precious points in the Rookie class at Imola. Top 10 also for James Wharton, Prema Racing and Ferrari Driver Academy driver, and Nikita Bedrin, who after his Rookie 2021 win is competing this season with a new team, PHM Racing.

Just outside the top 10 is Brando Badoer, Italian driver, racing for Frits Van Amersfoort's Dutch team.

 

Back on the track again at the Misano World Circuit with Free Practice 2, from 17.10 to 17.50. Tomorrow qualifying in two sessions from 9.30 to 9.45 and from 9.55 to 10.10, race 1 in the evening at 17.50. On Sunday, 5 June, race 2 at 9.40 and race 3 will close the weekend at 17.40
