Ruiqi Liu from China will race with US Racing in the following motorsport season 2023 in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and the Formula Winter Series.

After racing last year with US Racing at the Formula 4 Lausitzring round, Ruiqi will now compete a full Formula 4 season with US Racing. The season 2023 will start already next week at the Spanish race track Jerez as part of the newly founded Formula Winter Series.

“I can’t wait for the season 2023 to finally start. We have been testing over the winter break and I was happy with my results and the development I made over these tests. I was also able to spend a few days with my family in China and now I’m ready and fully motivated to start the 2023 season. The Formula Winter Series is a great winter series to prepare for the Italian Formula 4 season. We have a big program ahead but I feel well prepared and I’m looking very much forward to my first race and the season with US Racing", admits the 16-year-old from China.

“Ruiqi is a very outgoing person with lots of talent to be a race driver. We could see his development and improvement since the race weekend at Lausitzring. I am pretty sure we will see great races of Ruiqi this year.”, explains Gerhard Ungar.

Ralf Schumacher is also pleased for the new US Racing member: “I’m happy to see that Ruiqi is now racing a full season with US Racing and we are looking forward to many great races”.
