Manuel Quondamcarlo, after a fruitful career in karting and having had a taste of the Italian Formula 4 Championship in 2022 by taking to the track at Misano and Vallelunga with AS Motorsport, is now ready to race the entire season with the team led by Andrej Slak.

The 16-year-old from Avezzano will appear at the inaugural round of the Italian F.4 Championship at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola (April 21 - 23) after a few days of profitable testing, carried out under the watchful eye of manager Giovanni Minardi.

Manuel Quondamcarlo: "I am very enthusiastic about the start of the championship and happy about the continuation with Minardi Management. I hope I don't disappoint."

Giovanni Minardi: "I'm happy that we managed to get back on track for the 2023 season. I hope that the efforts will be repaid with greater continuity than in 2022. I'm sure that if we succeed in this, Manuel will be able to take away some good satisfaction."

The championship will then move to Misano (5 - 7 May), Spa-Francorchamsp (26 - 28 May) for the first away match outside the national borders, Monza (23 - 25 June) and Le Castellet (21 - 23 July) before the summer break. Mugello (29 September – 1 October) will host the sixth and penultimate round on the calendar, which will end in Vallunga on 15 October.
