Paul Ricard, race 3: Leclerc again

An error at the start by Petecof leaves room for Leclerc who manages to resist the Brazilian's return in the final. Third is an excellent Vips, ahead of Rasmussen and Pasma.

From pole Gianluca Petecof (Prema Powerteam) seems to start well, but in the gear change the car slows down and the Brazilian is passed by teammate Leclerc, Juri Vips (KIC Motorsport), who immediately gets an excellent second position from fifth on the grid, and Oliver Rasmussen (Prema Powerteam).

In the first laps Vips is attached to the Monegasque thanks to the fact that KIC has solved the engine problems that afflicted the Estonian driver since Misano. However, several attempts to attack by Vips are unsuccessful, while Petecof's comeback is furious behind him, with extraordinary overtaking first on Rasmussen and then on Vips, towards which the Brazilian driver shows no awe, despite the experience of the Red Bull Junior Team driver.

At that point Leclerc takes advantage thanks to the duel between the two pursuers and brings to almost 2 seconds  his advantage on Petecof, who however in race 3 is faster than his teammate, catches up with him and launches some attacks, without however being able to conquer the first position. So it is Arthur Leclerc to win race 3 under the eyes of his brother, Ferrari F1 driver, Charles Leclerc. Behind the leading trio, a good fight between Rasmussen, Patrick Pasma (KIC Motorsport), Konsta Lappalainen (KIC Motorsport) and the home driver Pierre-Louis Chovet (Van Amersfoort Racing), who will arrive at the finish line in this order.
