Van Amersfoort Racing seems to be the team to beat on the Barcelona circuit, after 5 rounds of the Formula Regional where the Dutch team had not yet shown its real potential.

Pierre-Louis Chovet thus sets the best time of the first qualifying session, in front of his teammate Dennis Hauger, the 2019 star of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, with Van Amersfoort Racing. The latter wins the second qualifying session ahead of Chovet by a tenth.

So the two VAR drivers are very fast, while the Prema Powerteam holds its own, with Oliver Rasmussen, generally less effective than Petecof and Leclerc, but certainly fast in Barcelona, even if the gap from the top in the first session is not small, 0.451. Afterwards, close to one another Patrik Pasma (KIC Motorsport), exceptional winner in Monza, and Arthur Leclerc, however at 0.509. Championship leader Gianluca Petecof is very far in the first session, only tenth, while in the second session he climbs fifth, but is still behind Hauger, Chovet, Rasmussen and Leclerc.

Dennis Hauger does not stop and with the best second time overall wins the pole also in race 3.

Race 1 will start tomorrow at 11.10 and race 2 at 17.05. Live streaming on the championship's Facebook page, on MS Motor TV channel and on motorsport.tv
