Imola, race 3: Pasma wins ahead of Leclerc

Overtaking on the Imola circuit between cars with the same performance is really difficult, and so Pasma endures the whole race against a very fast Leclerc.

It is Patrik Pasma starting from pole in the third and final race of the penultimate round of 2020, on a circuit where overtaking has been seen in the two previous stages to be particularly difficult. The Finn's sprint is good and he holds the first position ahead of Leclerc and Rodriguez, Chovet and Petecof.

A spin by Rodriguez at the Variante Alta brings him to the last position, probably an acceleration too early for the impetuousness of wanting to win. Ahead Pasma and Leclerc are only 5 tenths one from the other.

Exciting battle for several laps for fifth position between Lappalainen, Hauger and Rasmussen, the latter still with the mathematical possibility for the title.

Again Emidio Pesce shows improvements and drives well in the eighth position and ever closer to the trio that fights immediately in front.

10 minutes from the end Henrion spin at the Mineral Waters and stopped in the gravel with the need to enter the Safety car with Pasma, Leclerc, Chovet, Petecof, Lappalainen, Hauger, Rasmussen and Pesce.

At the restart the positions do not change, even if Leclerc is on Pasma. Lappalainen makes a mistake and is passed by Hauger, Rasmussen and Pesce.

Pasma wins, ahead of Leclerc, Chovet, Petecof, Hauger, Rasmussen and Pesce.
