The multiple time motorbike champion Antonio Cairoli (Hyundai i20 R5) completed a remarkable rally ending sixth overall. A lot of Italian champions like Lorenzo Codecà and Mauro Toffoli took part in the Italian Cross Country in the Suzuki Gran Vitara T1. The Junior title went to Mazzocchi-Galotti on Ford Fiesta Rally4, while the CIR 2WD went to Andreucci-Andreussi, on Peugeot 208 Rally4. The constructors' title went to Skoda.

Umberto Scandola first of the Italian Rally Championship contenders as the series will be decided in the closing round. Corrado Fontana, Hyundai i20 Wrc, secures the Italian title reserved to World Rally Cars. Stefano Albertini, Skoda Fabia R5, wins the CIRA.

Second overall in the "A Cursa” were Stefano Albertini and Danilo Fappani, Skoda Fabia R5, that won the Tarmac trophy. The third place went to Giandomenico Basso and Lorenzo Granai, Volkswagen Polo R5, that are still leading the Championship. Cogni-Zanni won the CIR Junior round among the Ford Fiesta R2. The second round of the ACI Sport Rally Zone Cup the victory went to Lombardo (Peugeot 207 S2000)

The second place went to Basso-Granai in the VW Polo R5, that still lead the championship. The third place to Albertini-Fappani, Skoda Fabia R5, that won the Asphalt trophy at Ciocco. CRZ victory for Panzani-Pinelli, Fabia R5.

The Federation, organizers of rally series and tyres constructors had a meeting to discuss the new format of the series and single events, the guidelines for restarting the competition and to make the point of the situation case by case.

The itinerary is set to change as well.

Operational procedures have been approved by the Sporting Commission of ACI.

Following the postponement of the RIS due to the COVID-19 outbreak, once the new date will be decided it will be possible to confirm the purchased ticket or ask for a refund.

A note has been sent to the CONI President Giovanni Malagò to request specific funding to support Italian motorsport.
